eth_getBalance

Returns the balance of given account address in wei.

Supported on Arbitrum One (Nitro) only.

Parameters

  • address - The address to check for balance.
  • quantity or tag - (optional) Integer block number, or the string 'latest', 'earliest' or 'pending'.

Returns

  • result - Integer value of current balance in wei encoded as a hexadecimal.
